FedCash® Services

The Federal Reserve System's cash function ensures that depository institutions have sufficient supplies of currency and coin to meet public demand.

FedCash Services via FedLine Web: The Federal Reserve Banks' FedCash Services via FedLine Web provide you with convenient, online access to fill local and cross-district orders for currency and coin and deposit food coupons. You can also submit deposit notifications and view transaction confirmations and reports.

FedCash Custodial Inventory: A FedCash Custodial Inventory is currency owned by a Federal Reserve Bank but located within an institution's secured facility and physically segregated and secured from the Institution's other currency. Under the FedCash Custodial Inventory program, Institutions may store in a CI currency that is temporarily surplus but that the institutions expect to pay to customers within the same business week; this currency will be credited and/or debited to the Institution's accounts with the Federal Reserve Banks.
