The new web-based FedEDI Plus service will eventually replace the Windows® based PC product and offers several improvements such as:
- A customer experience that is consistent with other FedLine Web functions
- No software to request or install
- No more outdated Windows operating system concerns
- Automatic report generation of scheduled reports
- An "on demand" feature allowing for real time reports to be generated for various date ranges and customer.
- All data will be housed in the FedACH application. Customers will no longer need to input payment or info files into FedEDI.
- Reports will be available in various customer-selected formats (e.g., PDF, TXT, HTML)
- Optional "secure delivery" of reports to a DFI and its customers via a secure e-mail service
- Available to offline, non-FedLine Web customers who choose to assign administration responsibilities to a FedLine Web customer
