Subscriber Access Roles

Role	Description of Access
Information Services	FedLine Web® - Information Services: Allows the Subscriber to ONLY access FedACH transactions including settlement, file, batch, item and customer profile data. Information is also available for subscribers to view selected return activity data, RDFI File Alert and FedEDI Plus.
Derive Returns and NOCs	FedLine Web - Information Services: Allows the Subscriber to ONLY derive returns, NOCs and dishonored and contested dishonored returns.
Send and Receive Files	FedLine Advantage® - Transaction Services: Allows the Subscriber to ONLY send a file to FedACH, receive a file from FedACH, request an on-demand delivery, and view the status of files.
Send, Receive & Approve Other Files	FedLine Advantage - Transaction Services: Provides the Subscriber with the same access as Send & Receive Files. In addition, it allows the Subscriber to approve files sent by another Subscriber within his/her organization. The Subscriber is prohibited from approving his/her files sent.
Send, Receive & All Approve Files	FedLine Advantage - Transaction Services: Provides the Subscriber with the same access as Send, Receive and Approve Other Files. In addition, it allows the Subscriber to approve his/her files sent.
Approve Files Only	FedLine Advantage - Transaction Services: Allows the Subscriber to ONLY approve files sent by another Subscriber within his/her organization and view the status of files.
Set/Edit Criteria Under Dual Control, View Only Pended Batches	FedLine Web - FedACH RiskSM Origination Monitoring Service: Allows the Subscriber to set, edit and approve management criteria (but not approve management criteria that he/she has entered) and view screens associated with pended batches (but not release or reject batches).
Set/Edit Criteria, Release Pended Batches	FedLine Web - FedACH Risk Origination Monitoring Service: Allows the Subscriber to set, edit and approve management criteria and view screens associated with pended batches and release or reject these pended batches.
Set/Edit Criteria, View Only Pended Batches	FedLine Web - FedACH Risk Origination Monitoring Service: Allows the Subscriber to set, edit and approve management criteria without the involvement of a second person and view screens associated with pended batches (but not release or reject the batches).
View Only Criteria, Release Pended Batches	FedLine Web - FedACH Risk Origination Monitoring Service: Allows the Subscriber to view management criteria, view screens associated with pended batches and release/reject pended batches.
View Only Criteria, View Only Pended Batches	FedLine Web - Risk Origination Monitoring Service: Allows the Subscriber to view management criteria and screens associated with pended batches.
Set/Edit Criteria Under Dual Control, Release Pended Batches	FedLine Web - Risk Origination Monitoring Services: Allows the Subscriber to set, edit and approve management criteria (but not approve management criteria that he/she has entered) and view screens associated with pended batches and release or reject these pended batches.

Helpful Tips:

FedLine Web - Information Services:

• If a Subscriber with only the Supervisor access role wants to view FedACH activity, he/she must also have User level access.

FedLine Web - FedACH Risk Origination Monitoring Service:

• If Set/Edit Criteria Under Dual Control, View Only Pended Batches is selected, a total of three Subscribers will be needed. Two Subscribers to set and approve criteria changes and a third to release batches.
• If Set/Edit Criteria, Release Pended Batches is selected, one Subscriber is needed to set and approve criteria changes and release batches.
• If Set/Edit Criteria, View Only Pended Batches is selected, a total of two Subscribers will be needed. One Subscriber to set and approve criteria changes and a second with authority to release batches.
• If View Only Criteria, Release Pended Batches is selected, additional Subscribers with the authority to set and approve management criteria will be needed.
• If View Only Criteria, View Only Pended Batches is selected, additional Subscribers with the authority to set and approve management criteria and to release batches will be needed.

FedLine Advantage - Transaction Services:

• A Subscriber should select ONLY ONE of the roles for processing FedACH transactions.
• If a Subscriber wants to review file receipt and file status, he/she should also request FedLine Information Services User level access.
